About Us

Ed French learned craftsmanship at an early age from his grandfather, who was a carpenter from the "old school". When building homes in the 1930's and 1940's, each board was cut with a hand saw, each nail driven with a hammer, and detailed trim carved with a draw knife. Indeed, though it took quite some time to construct in those days, it was truly a custom home built to last. Ed French Homes combines old-school detail with new-age technology to make each home exceptional and unique.

While we have more efficient methods of building homes today, some believe the industry is now inundated with mass-produced homes constructed by builders with little imagination and no regard for quality and individuality. Ed French incorporates those priceless values in the construction of every home; a superior, distinctive home that is designed and custom built to the client's individual specifications and  detailed needs for livability, function, and value. A Certified Master Builder, Ed knows that meeting and, more importantly, exceeding the client's expectations of a superior-quality home requires careful planning, effective communication, and utmost attention to every detail.
